Among Miyagi's ALTs there's many cat lovers. So if I go on vacation, I have a lot of friends who come visit Masa. Thanks to that, I'm never worried. I think that the Tohoku Earthquake is a once-in-a-lifetime thing, but if anything ever happened I'm sure my friends would come check in on Masa right away.
大震災の間に気仙沼に住んでいた友達がいます。彼女がヤミという猫がかっています。昨年の三月大変な所だったけど、無事です。アパートの場所まで津波が来てしまうけどヤミは二階まで逃げました。
その猫にマサを紹介しようとおもって、気仙沼まで遊びにいきました。マサがほかの猫をあってとても喜んでた！でもヤミはちょっと怖がっていました。
来週まだ気仙沼にいきます... マサとヤミが友達になれるかな？
I have a friend who was in Kesennuma during the earthquake. She also has a cat, and his name is Yami. March last year was awful for them, but they are unharmed. The tsunami hit her apartment, but Yami ran and hid upstairs.
I wanted to introduce Masa to Yami, so I went to visit my friend in Kesennuma. Masa was super happy to see another cat, but Yami was a little afraid of him!
Next week I'm going back to Kesennuma... I wonder if Masa and Yami can be friends?
